I attended Georgia State University, and I love helping students achieve their academic goals. I especially enjoy helping students feel more empowered when I help them realize that a subject that was challenging them was not as hard as they thought. I think that everyone is very intelligent, whether they realize it or not, and many just need the right person to help them reach their academic potential while having fun. I tutor a variety of courses, including astronomy, Latin 1 and 2, reading, writing, phonics, literature, grammar and mechanics, both AP and standard American history, European history, earth science, geography, religious studies, AP human geography, English, social studies, science, and many others. I also enjoy helping students write great college essays and teaching them good study skills. I can work with a variety of students, including gifted ones. When not tutoring, I enjoy playing video games, going to concerts, gardening, and baking.
